I would love to tell you a little about myself.  I have always loved art, especially painting.  After having two sons, a lack of time and space kept my paints locked away for years.  I spent that time drawing portraits of my children and family members in charcoal, or more often drawing storybook characters for my two sons. 

One day, however, I came across a snapshot of my husband and youngest son that I loved, but that would never be suitable for framing.  I decided to try my hand at painting again, and the result was an intimate portrait of father and son that we will treasure forever.  Painting that portrait reawakened my love affair with art, and I have not stopped since.  After covering every wall of our home in portraits of our children, I took the advice of loved ones and began to offer my services to people outside my family. 

I am incredibly blessed to be able to be home with my children during the day while pursuing my dream career of portrait artist at naptime and in the evenings.  Every new portrait brings its own challenges and its own particular joy to my life.  I look forward to working with you to create a work of art for you and your loved ones to treasure.
